speed-o-guards still fade/taper on the Magic clip? it don’t fall off but is it doing the job or doesn’t cut as well?

i have a question , are the wahl from wal-mart good for fading ?
@BigBadBaddyBad I answered that before here. You don’t want your metal Andis teeth grinding against the metal guard teeth. It will wear your Andis clipper teeth down. Then you’ll have to buy a new blade. Click on the link above to see the new Andis magnetic guards that work perfectly with the Andis Master.
why not use metal guards.

I love the Masters too,but the Magic Clips are really good clippers I think every barber should have both pair of clippers.
People talking about the guards, on well, these barbers should not need guards. It is cheating, way too easy. Seen some stylists putting and leaving their guards in the Barbercide, this is not good for the guards, they schrink.
Both Andis Master and Wahl Magic are using magnetic motor.

true that i have went through so many of the red gaurds and actually they are so tight you can barely keep them good for only a few cuts. its worse if you got the masters adjusted
Use the Andis Magnetic guards. They don’t get ate up. Check out the video response above for more info.
I picked up the Masters a month ago and everytime i cut my hair the guards are done. Is there any guard i can use besides the speeds.

you can clearly buy da specially made andis master plastic guards that fit on perfect and the teeth dont eat away the gaurd and they come with the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 ,6 ,and 8 which is perfect for all haircuts and there only about 12 bucks
you can do more with the andis master, the wahl magic clipper is better as a back up or a clipper to help clean up any rough spots on a fade, it’s more ideal for short tight cuts
How does the wahl magic clipper match up against Andis Master? I was thinking about buying a set but I need a set that is going to last.

I guess you didn’t listen to the video. Metal guards grind against the teeth on the master. If that happens your clippers will no longer be sharp.
